Topic will included such things as fitting water pumps, connecting calorifiers and backboilers, installing sinks and showers and more. These works are similar to systems used on land, but require professional know how to fit on boats. You would want water leaks in areas where they are hard to reach or identify.

The Floating Boatyard offer maintenance, repairs and painting for canal boats and narrowboats on the inland waterways and canals in the UK. All boat works undertaken from our orange ex British Waterways workboat. We operate on the river Lea in East London, North London, Essex and Hertfordshire. The business is set up as a workers owned cooperative with charitable focus.

Our plumbing services cover many aspects of boat water and heating systems. We will be gas certified as of January 2019. Until then we can fit and service cold water systems.
